Members of the CMMTQ (Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec), are specialized construction contractors working in the field of building mechanics, in particular plumbing and heating. These contractors install, repair and maintain all systems that are essential to the functioning of a building:
- plumbing,
- warm air heating, hot water and steam including natural gas burners and oil,
- refrigeration,
- protection against fire,
- ventilation,
- instrumentation and control systems.
They ensure the comfort and safety of occupants and users in residential, commercial, institutional and industrial sectors.
